Introducing the Audience Intelligentsia Community

For this new year, we’ve embarked on a mission: to redefine how we think of the term “audience.” And here’s how we’re going to do it:

Media, advertising, and marketing professionals, meet education and learning professionals.


After a successful conference in New York last year, we decided to launch an online community to keep the conversation and ideas flowing on how we might cross-pollinate the concepts, principles, and best practices of media & advertising with those of education and learning.

We’re now opening up that community to you. Audience Intelligentsia is a professional community where some of the leading thinkers in the media and learning industries gather to discuss the opportunities surrounding the leveraging of learning and education concepts in marketing and media to deepen audience data, increase user engagement, and create value for our customers and businesses. We hope the community becomes the intersection of learning and media.

Whether we’re dealing with customers, students or employees, too often we tend to reduce our audiences to simple metrics: subscribers, views, clicks, grades, proficiency scores, social interactions, etc.
